Jews Protest Anti-Semitic Saturday Night Live Jokes

Photos and text by Gary Baumgarten

Americans Against Antisemitism holds a rally outside the NBC Studios in Midtown Manhattan to protest two Saturday Night Live skits they believe are anti-Semitic.

A man standing across the street from the NBC studios holds up two signs complaining about the skits. One of which suggested that only Jews are given vaccines in Israel. The other which joked the winner of a Miss Hitler contest was Miss Israel.

Americans Against Antisemitism says jokes that promote hate against Jews fail to meet the definition of humor. They are demanding an apology. So far, there’s been no public comment from NBC.

Dov Hikind, founder of Americans Against Antisemitism leads the crowds in chants such as “SNL apologize” and “Antisemitism isn’t funny.”
